Dr. Joseph Audette
Dr. Joseph Audette is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School and Chief of Pain Management at Atrius Health. His research on acupuncture for the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome has been sponsored by the NIH and was mentioned as a seminal study by the New York Times. While completing his residency at Columbia University, he attended the Tristate Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in New York. Dr. Audette is a recognized authority in myofascial needling techniques for the treatment of pain and point verification methods of acupuncture and is the President of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture (AAMA). He has been teaching the Kiiko style of acupuncture for over 20 years.

Dr. Allison Bailey
Dr. Allison Bailey is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) with expertise in the treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological pain conditions, women’s health, myofascial needling techniques, and medical acupuncture. She graduated from Albany Medical College in 2000 and completed her residency training in PM&R through Harvard Medical School’s program at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, MA. She is the former director of Integrated Health and Fitness Associates in Cambridge, MA. In 2021, she relocated her family to North Conway, NH where she focuses on coordinating AcuMed’s Integrated Structural Acupuncture course and on teaching medical acupuncture. She is passionate about helping healthcare providers fight burnout by rediscovering their calling to heal themselves and their patients.

Jeffrey Singer
Jeffrey Singer is a financial Advisor of 32 years, coaching clients in areas of investment portfolio construction and retirement income planning. He is the President of his local Worcester, MA networking group of 20 members. He obtained his BS in Business from Bryant University and his MBA from Clark University. He lives in Holden, MA with his wife of 25 years. They have a daughter and a son, both recent graduates of UMass-Amherst. He recently completed all 4000 footers in NH. Hobbies include hiking, exploring New England, reading, and walking his greyhound.

Dr. Joseph Walker III
Dr. Joseph Walker III is a triple-board-certified physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with subspecialty certifications in Pain Medicine and Medical Acupuncture. He completed his residency at Harvard’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and a multidisciplinary Pain Medicine fellowship, integrating physical therapy, psychology, and interventional procedures. Since 2009, he has been a faculty member at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where he provides non-operative spine care and performs interventional pain procedures at the Comprehensive Spine Center. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Walker is actively involved in medical education, serving as a national lecturer on neuroanatomically based electroacupuncture. He also contributes to the field through peer review, professional committees, and leadership roles, including his position as a board member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

Dr. Suzanne M. Edmunds
Dr. Suzanne M. Edmunds graduated from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in 1989. She completed her Pediatric residency at Kaiser Permanente Southern California in 1992 and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at UCLA in 1995. An Associate Professor in the departments of Pediatrics and Anesthesiology at Wake Forest Baptist Health from 2004 until 2020, she was also very active in medical education at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Following a health crisis in 2019, Dr. Edmunds shifted her focus from academic medicine to holistic health. She completed the AcuMed Integrated Structural Acupuncture program and remains involved with the course as a Teaching Assistant. Based in Winston-Salem, her practice specializes in medical acupuncture treatments that relieve pain, restore functionality, and improve quality of life.

Jennifer Astrauskas, R.N.
Jennifer Astrauskas, R.N., earned her BSN in 1996 from Simmons College in Boston MA. She subsequently worked at Massachusetts General Hospital on the Burn Unit & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery floor. Later, her husband’s work took them overseas, and she lived for 4 years in Dusseldorf, Germany. She had her first pregnancy and gave birth to the first of three daughters there. Living in Germany, she got to experience a completely different approach to health and to life in general (work life balance is a priority in Europe!). She learned and began to apply in her own life and family many non-pharmacological approaches to healing and disease prevention. Since then, she has remained passionate about incorporating healthy habits into daily life. Her hobbies include travel, skiing, hiking, cooking, gardening, growing herbs, and exploring local farm stands for nourishing food for her family.
